Safety Policy

Battle River Oilfield Construction Ltd. is committed to a strong safety and loss control program to protect our staff, clients, property, the environment, and the public from accidents.  Management and employees share the responsibility of continuously striving to adhere to, and enhance Battle Rivers’ Safety, Health and Environment Program.

All employees, from the most recently hired laborer to the owners, have an important role to play in determining the success of this program.  Employees are responsible and accountable for upholding their part in the implementation of the safety program. This involves adhering to the policy and procedures, and communicating suggestions for improvement to their supervisor.
Management supports participation in the program by all employees and provides proper equipment, training and procedures.  All company employees and others are responsible for following all procedures and government regulations, wearing and using personal protective equipment when required, participating in safety training programs and informing supervisors of any unsafe working conditions.

Working safely is a condition of employment. Everyone has the responsibility to refuse to do work when unsafe conditions exist.

Any individuals who do not fulfill their safety responsibilities will become accountable for any problems their negligence creates, and may be liable under the law.

Employees are our most valuable assets in the successful conduct of our business. An injury and accident free workplace is our goal.  Through continuous safety and loss control effort, we can accomplish this.
